Theme of the Day:  A spark becomes a flame, a flame a fire.

Word of the Day:  Emblazon (verb)
 
Meaning - Depict, exhibit.

Usage - Her jacket was emblazoned with warm colours.

MEETING OPENED:  Sergeant@Arms, TM Karunakar Dev, started the meeting with great fervor and gaiety at exactly 6:30 pm sharing a story of a very young Novak Djokovic, how a spark of interest in lawn tennis which became a flame.....a fire and then a roaring blaze.



PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS: The club president, TM Cherian Thomas, called the meeting to order and gave a very deep and inspiring presidential address on the theme of the day "a spark becomes a flame, a flame a fire" by touching upon the story of the first African to be awarded the Nobel Prize in literature, Wole Soyinka.

INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY TOASTMASTER OF THE DAY:  As Toastmaster of the Day, the club president, TM Cherian Thomas, rocked the stage with his mesmerizing performance.



INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY GENERAL EVALUATOR:   As GE for the day, the very calm and collected, TM Ratan Shetty, introduced his TAG team and later gave a very razor-sharp analysis of the entire meeting.

AGENDA 1:  TABLE TOPICS:  As Table Topics Master, the graceful and soft-spoken, TM Smitha Roshy, celebrated "Children's Day" by taking all the speakers way back to their childhood days of being naughty and breaking the rules.

Topic - It only takes one song to bring back all the memories and the song is ________.

Topic - Sleeping on a couch and magically wake up on bed.

Topic -  Grandparents create memories that the heart holds forever.

Topic - Children are like wet cement, whatever falls on them makes an impression.

BREAK - During the break, the members of BTMC and Banjara Toastmasters club mingled and networked with each other, sipping hot tea and munching on cake.

1.  TM Esther Roshini Chandy attempted her Project #1 (Ice Breaker) from Competent Communicator Manual. 
Title - "ORDINARY BUT NOT BORING."


2.  TM Ganesh Iyer attempted his Project #1 from Advanced Communicator Silver Manual (Storytelling). 
Title - "THE FOLKTALE."
  


AGENDA 3:  EDUCATIONAL SESSION (Due to some technical difficulties only the last 10 minutes of video available)

Title - "THE PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF EVALUATION."
