Theme of the Day:  Success has made failures of many men.

Word of the Day:  Abdication (noun)

Meaning - to give up or renounce (authority, duties, an office, etc.), especially in a voluntary, public, or formal manner

Usage - King Edward VIII of England abdicated the throne in 1936.

MEETING OPENED:  Sergeant@Arms, TM Karunakar Dev, started the meeting with panache at precisely 6:30 pm.
 

                                    

PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS:  The presiding officer for the day, TM Joseph Dass, VP Education, called the meeting to order and delivered a very soul-stirring presidential address in his flamboyant style touching on the theme of the day " Success has made failures of many men."

INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY TOASTMASTER OF THE DAY:  As Toastmaster of the Day, TM Richard D'Souza, captivated his audience with his impeccable cadence.



                              

INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY GENERAL EVALUATOR:   As GE for the day, the dynamic and dashing TM Nandan Damle introduced his TAG team and in the end gave a very comprehensive evaluation of the entire meeting paying extremely close attention to details.

Four new members were sworn-in as members of the Bangalore Toastmasters Club by Vice President - Membership, TM Sahil Jain.
