MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Theme: A NEW BROOM SWEEPS THE ROOM CLEAN BUT AN OLD BROOM KNOWS THE CORNERS.

Usage: The retro meeting was redolent of the days that was.

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting #1053 was held on 7^th April 2017 at Aashirvad Centre, St. Marks Road. This was a special meeting as it was held to commemorate the 20^th Anniversary of the club. The stand-in Sergeant at arms TM Jose Paul set a retro tone for the meeting and left the stage on a high note by inviting the President TM Cherian Thomas who invited the founding members- TM Robinson D’Souza, TM Claudius Periera and TM Siraj Ur Rahman for a cake cutting ceremony to celebrate the 20^th year anniversary. The President further read the letter of commendation received from Toastmasters International and had a persuasive message for the audience. He then introduced the Toastmaster of the Day (TOD) TM Siraj Ur Rahman.

A special presentation consisting of photos was played after the break to make the members reminisce about the bygone days of the club.

The President invited all the senior members and former members of the club to the stage and honored them with a special badge which commemorated 20 years of BTMC.
