CALL TO ORDER

Meeting #1052 was held on 31^st March 2017 at Aashirvad Centre, St. Marks Road. The Sergeant at arms TM Sathvik Shetty started the meeting with an introduction to the theme, and handed over charge to the President TM Cherian Thomas who inspired the audience by explaining the theme and introduced the Toastmaster of the Day (TOD) TM Aparajitha

4. An induction ceremony for the new members was conducted by the VP-Membership, TM Melvyn Smith.

A total of 10 members were sworn in, namely:

Rowena Coelho,Krishna Chand, Aditya Chandak, Adithya Maheshwari, Sharath Ganapathy, Arshitya Basavaraj, Karthik Seetharam, Pradeep P, Rajesh Harnook and D Hemant Kumar.

ANNOUNCEMENT

1. Area Director TM Umakanth invited and urged all the members of the club to attend the area a5 contest scheduled on April 8^th, Saturday at CGI Toastmasters Club, Yemlur and support the members contesting from our club.

2. The President reminded all the members of the club about the 20^th Anniversary RETRO meeting which would be conducted on 7^th April 2017. In addition he made a special mention about the ice cream treat for all the members following the adjournment of the RETRO meeting.

AWARDS

The President TM Cherian invited all those members in the audience who did not get a chance to speak in the meeting, to speak at the conclusion of the meeting for 45s. The topic was given by the President.

A total of 6 members from the audience took this opportunity and spoke on the stage.

Ensuing this, the President distributed the following awards:
