MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Theme: WOMEN ARE THE REAL ARCHITECTS OF SOCIETY.

Word of the Day: SUBLIME- tending to inspire awe usually because of elevated quality (as of beauty, nobility, or grandeur). 

Usage: My Himalayan trekking experience was sublime.  

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting #1049 was held on 10th March 2017 at Aashirvad Centre, St. Marks Road. The acting Sergeant at arms TM Puneetha started the meeting with an introduction to the theme, and handed over charge to the President TM Cherian Thomas who inspired the audience by explaining the theme and introduced the Toastmaster of the Day (TOD) TM Nehal Shukla

AWARDS

The President distributed the following awards:

1.      Every woman who spoke on the stage was recognized for their contribution to the women’s day special meeting.  

2.      In addition, the President provided an opportunity for all the members in the audience who didn’t get a chance to speak, to speak for 30s prior to the award ceremony. There were in total 7 speakers who used this opportunity.
