CALL TO ORDER

Meeting #1048 was held on 3rd March 2017 at Aashirvad Centre, St. Marks Road.   Sergeant at arms TM Sathvik started the meeting with an introduction to the theme, and handed over charge to the President TM Cherian Thomas who inspired the audience by explaining the theme and introduced the Toastmaster of the Day (TOD) TM Skanda Sandeep

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
  1. The President TM Cherian Thomas reminded the audience about the special meeting on March 10th, which is to be an all-ladies-affair, as a celebration of Women's Day. 
  2. Courtesy of the TOD of the previous meeting- a group of musicians who play for the band “Massive Vibe live” were permitted a 2 minute slot in the end to address the members.
  3. We had a wild card entry on stage- our member- TM Jaishree Iyengar who informed the audience about the grammatical flaw by a certain speaker and highlighted that “Good Uses” must be used instead of the phrase “Good Usages” as the word “Usage” is a non-countable noun.
