MEETING OPENED: The ever charming Sergeant@Arms, TM Karunakar Dev, started the meeting at precisely 6:30 pm with great expectation and excitement.
PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS: The club president, TM Cherian Thomas called
the meeting to order and kick-started the epic battle - VERBATTLE - 3rd EDITION.

MODERATOR: It was a TM Joseph Dass (JD) show from the word ..........Go. His rip-roaring moderation ensured a session filled with non-stop debating, enthusiasm and zeal sprinkled with interaction with the judges and the audience. He also explained the RULES AND REGULATIONS of the VERBATTLE.
THE HONORABLE JUDGES - BTMC very proudly welcomed the judges for this epic battle, who were

AGENDA #1: SEMI-FINAL #1 - TEAM B Vs TEAM D
TOPIC - "TO BE A LEADER ONE MUST BE A GOOD FOLLOWER."
TEAM D - Team D spoke "FOR" the topic.
TEAM B - Team B spoke "AGAINST" the topic.

2. TM Richard D'Souza

4. TM Aman Mahajan
5. TM Sanjana Oolety
The first salvo of the Rebuttal - Semi-Final #1 was fired by team D which was followed by a series of points and counterpoints by both teams for the next 7 minutes, broken only by the timer's red card as well as applause from the audience.
AGENDA #2: SEMI-FINAL #2 - TEAM A Vs TEAM C
TOPIC - "TO BE A GOOD LEADER ONE MUST BE A GOOD SPEAKER."
TEAM A - Team A spoke "AGAINST" the topic.

TEAM C - Team C spoke "FOR" the topic.

Again, the arguments and counter-arguments were fired away in Rebuttal - Semi-Final #2 by both the teams for the next 7 minutes, broken only by the timer's red card as well as applause from the audience.
AGENDA #3: FINALS - TEAM A Vs TEAM B
TOPIC - "MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS ARE LIKE ENVIRONMENTALIST. THEY RECYCLE."
TEAM A - Again, team A chose to speak "AGAINST" the topic.

TEAM B - Team B spoke "FOR" the topic.
A third time, like blazing cannons both Team A and B charged against each other in Rebuttal - Final and the topic was debated and discussed upon by a series of points and counter-points, arguments and counter-arguments, ending only by the timer's red card and a thunderous applause by the audience.
AGENDA #4: RESULTS OF VERBATTLE
WINNERS - Team B led by TM Godfrey Soans and comprising of TM Ricard D'Souza, TM Mahaveer Jain, TM Aman Mahajan, and TM Sanjana Oolety.
RUNNER-UP - Team A led by DTM Rajdeep Manwani and comprising of TM Aswathy Sreekumar, TM Karunakar Dev, TM Prakash Tamhankar and TM Rahul.
