Word of the Day:   Alacrity (noun)

Meaning - Liveliness and eagerness; cheerful readiness.

UsageThe boy jumped up and down with alacrity as he inched closer to the candy store.

MEETING OPENED:  The Sergeant@Arms, TM Karunakar Dev, started the meeting at precisely 6:30 pm with great alacrity.


PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS:   The club president, TM Cherian Thomas, called the meeting to order and delivered a very motivating and thought-provoking presidential address touching upon Susan B. Anthony's life-long struggle with social reform in her home country of United States and kept the audience enthralled in the theme of the day "agreements give better results than arguments."

INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY TOASTMASTER OF THE DAY:  As Toastmaster of the Day, TM Hemant Narang, fascinated the audience with his exhilarating and dynamic performance.


INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY GENERAL EVALUATOR:   As GE for the day, it was our pleasure to welcome Area D3 Director - District 92, TM Kynan D'Souza, who introduced his TAG team and in the end gave a very comprehensive and clinical evaluation of the entire meeting.

1.  TM Rejith Ramachandran attempted his Project #1/Ice Breaker from Competent Communicator Manual.
 Title – "MY STORY."
 



 2.  TM Aman Mahajan attempted his Project #2 from Competent Communicator Manual.
 Title – "A JOURNEY OF 25 MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP."
 


3. TM Payal Bhulani attempted her Project #1 from Advanced Communicator Silver - Entertaining Speaker Manual.
Title – "THE THREE GEMS."



AGENDA 2:  TABLE TOPICS:  As Table Topics Master, the gentle, TM Manasi Gupta, gave some amazing topics which got all the speakers thinking on their feet instantly.

AGENDA 5:  ANNOUNCEMENTS
1.  TM Sanjay Hassa won the Area Level Evaluation Contest held on October 10, 2015.  The Division Level Humourous and Evaluation Contest will be held on October 17, 2015, at NetApp, Domlur, between 2 pm and 7 pm.

2.  Appeal to all the members who have not yet renewed their membership to Bangalore Toastmasters Club to kindly renew their membership by paying their dues.
