MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Theme:  Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Word of the Day:  Convoluted - very complicated and difficult to understand

Usage: I had a hard time understanding the movie’s convoluted plot.

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting #1070 was held on 4^th August 2017 at Aashirvad Centre, St. Marks Road. The Sergeant at arms TM Aiyappa Appanna Ponnachanda greeted both members and guests who were present and explained about the do’s and don’ts during the meeting .He set the right tone and handed over the lectern to the Presiding officer TM Vivek Vijayan. The meeting is officially called to order by the presiding officer who has inspired the audience by explaining the theme and introduced the Toastmaster of the Day (TOD) TM Ankit Kumar.

ANNOUNCEMENT

1.      The Presiding officer TM Vivek Vijayan announced that 1st time in BTMC  history an ICE Breaker marathon will be conducted on 18th Aug 2017

2.      The Presiding officer TM Vivek Vijayan announced that 1st Speech craft  session will be conducted from 6th Aug 2017

3.      The Presiding officer TM Vivek Vijayan requested all the members to contribute the 1st newsletter of the term, an email would be sent on the same on 27th Aug 2017.
